Emma met Canon while working abroad in Spain, where she was fulfilling her passion for teaching English to children at a small local school. On weekends, she would travel around the country, soaking in everything Spain had to offer. During one of these adventures, in the port city of Marseille, France, Emma met Canon. At the time, Canon studied architecture in France, focusing on sustainable design and urban planning. The two quickly connected, spending every weekend exploring the country together. A year later, Canon returned to Marseilleâwhere they first metâand proposed.â
