Rhinebeck wrap up: it was a beautiful day, if a little warm for wool, with an easy drive up the taconic; lots and lots of people, like we’re talking about doing Sunday next year too many people; and I didn’t buy a thing since my back has kept me from knitting up last years haul (it’s ok, the back is getting better, and I’m in really good shape from all the swimming and walking, and it’s not like yarn goes bad).

What sweater am I wearing to Rhinebeck? Forecast is upper 60s. Haven’t knit in months (due to back problems - no sitting for extended periods of time), so nothing new this year. They all need a hit of steam 😅

Rhinebeck NYS&W recap:

2-4. The reason for the season: sheep!

7. Every time I open my needle case, I am delighted
8. We had dinner at Terrapin, but I had to grab a photo of this place because an old RHONY episode was filmed there.
9. We ate Paul Rudd’s face on a Rice Krispie treat from his Rhinebeck candy shop. He was not in the store when we visited.
10. George was glad when I got home.
Annie and I also hit up Jill Draper’s open studio event but neglected to take a single photo. Lovely yarn and a chance to catch up with more friends.

When you forget a peerie set quite a few inches from the end of the sleeve… To frog back (reknitting so. much. ribbing.) or snip a stitch, insert the missing, and then have to graft all around the sleeve. Argh.
