I receive so many DMs asking, “How do I become a fashion designer?” ✨ And yes, I do read them all.
Fashion is a beautiful and humbling journey. Before anything else, be honest with yourself. Do you have the passion, creativity, discipline, and resilience it takes? Talent matters, but dedication matters even more.
I am incredibly grateful for my team. They are the heartbeat of everything we create. No collection, no runway, and no dream comes to life alone.
School can give you the tools, but you must discover where your heart belongs. Fashion has so many paths design, draping, pattern making, textiles, styling, merchandising, production, and business.
A designer begins with a vision, a story waiting to be told. But bringing that story to life takes many gifted hands, each adding their own talent and craftsmanship.
Look to nature. It is the greatest designer of all full of color, texture, movement, and endless inspiration. And above all, trust the Creator to lead you on the path that is meant for you.
Never stop learning. Never stop creating. And most importantly, create because you love it. ❤️
