F**k ShopApp. Yes it's annoying when you bought something online, and it wants you to download their app. But do you know that businesses (and me!) are put onto this platform without our knowledge or permission?! I have a Shopify website (which I will be shutting down due to forced AI use and THIS) and turned OFF my ShopApp checkout, but you can still find my work on this website. Some items aren't even available anymore! There's no way to take them down. As a shopper you have to choose to "check out via email instead," and I urge you to. The seller might not even have the choice.

Flood-versary was Feb. 22

I deleted all these photos from my phone bc I just wanted to forget it and move on. But customers/clients/students will still reach out looking for me in this studio. Sorry to say it is no longer. Got flooded, lost the space, moved out, dissolved the LLC.
I just finalized my taxes, and officially officially BTJ LLC is over.
I am still getting over it.
It's hard to not be something you have been your entire adult life.
But I am moving on! Though I still feel in transition and unsettled, I will always be looking for the next moves.
So keep following along. I don't post as much these days. But I keep going! Can't stop printing, dyeing, sewing, painting, making.

Forever grateful to for coming to my rescue/cleanup/packing parties. Still have that Robertas coupon!

This is just how I feel.

I've been working with this "bear mask" image for a couple of years. This one, a natural dye print, the background painted over with more dye causing drips, then painted with alkaline wash causing color shift highlights, is my current favorite.
