As part of our process for this home, extensive photometric modeling was conducted to establish lighting strategies that most appropriately compliment the architectural concept.

We were thrilled to have been a part of creating the Mad-Men-era ambiance at the new TWA Hotel Connie Cocktail Lounge, which is set inside the restored cabin of a 1958 Lockheed Martin Constellation airplane. This unique lounge, which opened its doors recently to all sorts of buzz was restored with interiors by Stonehill Taylor and architecture by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners. Meet the Moxy NYC Downtown, a stylish new hotel in downtown NYC that we worked on alongside the interior design team at Stonehill Taylor. It’s 22-foot-tall atrium lobby is host to a 250-square-foot LED wall that serves as a virtual window into the play space on the third floor of the hotel. Colorful decorative lighting, exposed neon, and warm ambient illumination help to create an inviting and dynamic setting for the large multi-purpose lounge. We were thrilled to hear that the project was recently nominated for the SBID International Design Awards, under the Club & Bar Design category.

We were recently tapped by the team at Architecture AF to design the lighting for the NYC flagship showroom of furniture designers McKinnon and Harris. A careful balance of ambient and accent illumination compliment a museum quality setting to showcase the high quality furniture. A subtle contrast of slightly more neutral ambient light suggests daylight while warmer accents draw attention and focus to the furniture displays.
