2020 FIT Design Entrepreneurs Open Call

FIT Design Entrepreneurs is looking for emerging fashion businesses for their 2020 program that kicks off in January. The annual program accepts 25 businesses through a rigorous selection process to participate in the program free of cost for a chance to win $100,000 and $50,000.

Each company participates in three, weekend intensive classes focusing on branding/marketing, operations, and financials. They have access to FIT resources, classes, and salons from industry experts. These companies will be paired with a mentor to help complete a comprehensive business plan. In June 2020, 12 brands will be selected to advance to the Final Presentation, where they will compete for the prize money.

Applicant Criteria:

Must be a fashion business with sales, industry traction and press (cannot be in development)

Must provide references from industry names

Open to fashion designers (womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, jewelry/accessories) in and outside of the United States, but must be able to attend all weekend intensive sessions in New York in January 2020.
