53 years ago, the Supreme Court declared abortion a fundamental right under the decision of Roe V Wade. Three years ago, a conservative-leaning Supreme Court overturned Roe V Wade in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, effectively eliminating the nationwide constitutional right to abortion.

Continue the fight. Wear what you care about and contribute to the support of organizations like Planned Parenthood who work everyday to protect women's reproductive rights.

1973. A number that still stands for choice.

The background:
On January 22, 1973 the Supreme Court came to a decision in the Roe V Wade case declaring that the right to privacy as implied in the 14th Amendment protected abortion as a fundamental right. Almost 50 years later, in 2022, a conservative-leaning Supreme Court overturned Roe V Wade in Dobbs V Jackson Women's Health Organization, effectively eliminating the nationwide constitutional right to abortion.

The prinkshop 1973 design remains a symbol of reproductive freedom and a call to action. For every "1973" item sold, prinkshop makes a donation to Planned Parenthood of Greater NY to support the work they do everyday to protect women's reproductive freedom.
