🌿 Green on green! 🌱
This is the common_stitch made with an incredibly soft Belgian linen from bandjfabrics. I wasn’t planning on taking such green photos but here I was looking for a good light angle and then the wind... 💨
I had been looking around for a dress pattern to make for a dear friend and stumbled on the Fawn dress via the.weekend.sewist. It’s not so different from other gathered dresses but on the other hand it is. The dropped shoulder, neckline and square bodice have really nice proportions. I also like that the dress doesn’t have darts - it creates these neat folds around the armpit both front and back.
No modifications, but some pretty bias binding. I’ll post some photos later of me wearing it for people curious how this dress fits oversized as it’s a couple sizes big on me. Spoiler: I like it!
