NOW HIRING: Industrial Design Associate

We have an upcoming paid opportunity at Spitfire Industry. It’s a short-term, part-time, entry-level contract role: about 2 days a week for roughly 3 months, with the possibility of extension. It would be in person at our office in Gowanus, Brooklyn; and we’re hoping to get started as soon as possible. We’re also happy to chat about your interests to make sure the role supports your own goals!‍

RESPONSIBILITIES
This role blends product development and communications, including:
- Sourcing viable suppliers for ongoing projects
- Creating detailed tech packs for manufacturers
- Communicating with suppliers to create and review prototypes
- Assisting with social media and community engagement

REQUIREMENTS
- Strong SolidWorks and Adobe CC skills
- 1+ years work experience designing for manufacturing and creating tech packs
- Must be local to the tristate area
