Deputy Chief of Staff, Partnerships at the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Congress, was our special guest, and she truly poured into the room, not just into me, but into every woman present.

Her words carried wisdom, depth, and spirit, awakening something within each of us. It felt like a reminder of the work already placed in our lives, and the grace to walk it fully.

An intimate Mafo Dress Brunch in the heart of Washington, DC, during the world bank Spring Meetings.

Hosted at L’Ardente, this gathering brings together a carefully curated circle of women whose presence, work, and journeys continue to shape culture in powerful ways.

Having every woman in the room wear and embody the Mafo dress is always a deeply emotional experience. It’s not often you witness something you’ve created come alive so fully through others.

We will be hosting only 20 women for this experience.

Closing out International Women’s Month, we gathered for an intimate Mafo Dinner in New York, and it meant so much to us.

This evening was about celebrating and appreciating the women who have been part of this journey. The ones who show up with love, who support, and who continue to pour into this vision in such a real way. I particularly appreciated and awarded certificates to these backbones , . You sisters have given the real meaning.

Seeing every woman in that room was truly emotional. Having women choose, wear, and fully embody your gift is something so special. It is powerful, it is beautiful, and it is something we will always hold close.

Every moment, every conversation, every presence reminded us that Mafo is more than a dress. It is a community. It is a shared spirit. It is something we are building together.
