& no, you don't have to have to wear one and show support.. ALL awareness is awareness for this disease, and your money is going to help afford impossibly expensive surgeries. People could be wearing them in support of a loved one, or a partner. The point of it is also to show: a n y o n e. could have Endo. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Don't judge a body and it's ability to have a disease or illness.
