Kim Hicks is an esteemed New York based designer who specializes in European style haute couture. To her, couture is all about the craftsmanship of the garment and this is evident in the manner in which she develops all of her collections. nature, Kim uses only the most expensive fabrics which she personally hand picks from the best textile mills in Europe to ensure that the quality of her designs exceeds all expectations. These expensive fabrics are further adorned with the finest feather, bead and crystal embroidieries to create exquisite works of wearable art. Kim is an alumni of the Fashion Design program at Parsons the New School for Design in New York and has previously worked with Donna Karan, Badgley Mischka and with couturier Arnold Scassi where she designed for women such as Elizabeth Taylor and Brooke Astor. Kim has since experienced phenomenal success with her sensational couture label which she launched in 1997. Her pieces are regularly featured in the top American magazines and she remains one of the most sought after couturiers in New York. Clients include Renee Rockefeller, Alexandra Lebenthal, MSNBC’s Maria Bartiromo and Conde Nast’s Gina Sanders. Kim Hicks clothing can currently be found at Bergdorf Goodman.
