Fun fact! My first job in fashion in 2000 was in St. Louis as an assistant designer designing for the May Department Stores’ private label. (Women’s Woven Sportswear and Sleepwear under the labels Valerie Stevens and Erika Taylor) I haven’t seen the Valerie Stevens label in a long time- May was bought by Macy’s in 2005. So it was a fun surprise to get this VS cashmere cardigan to repair! I remember that the quality of fabrics we used was decent and the construction was solid— not like the fast fashion we see today. Happy to see this 21+ year old sweater keep chugging!
