Born in Guatemala, Claudia Amaya Fashion Designer grew up in the world of fashion in a very young age. It was Claudia’s mom who took her to a draping and sewing class, which changed her life forever. It was then when she knew she was destined to have a life stitch in Design. Claudia’s mother months later opened a trimming and fabric store witch succeed for over two decades. This was Claudia’s intr

oduction to many Patternmakers, Seamstresses, and Tailors. During that time it afforded Claudia to learn a lot about fashion from its inception to its beginning. Claudia eventually decided to pack her bags and pursue her dreams and move to New York City it was there when enrolled at FIT Fashion Institute Of Technology to continue her career. She has worked for many Designer Labels who saw her dedication and talent as Yigal Azrouel, Nili Lotan Design Studio, Avenue Montaigne, Lola Faturoti, Olga Kapustina, and Jungle mainly on Apparel Production Management. Additionally, she studied back home Fashion Design/Industrial Apparel Design at IFES Istmo University Guatemala. In 2017 based on her experience, she launched her own Woman Wear sold in title to become a global brand New York City based also she has opened a manufacturing business in New York Garment District.
