Authentic Brands Group has partnered with Glance Eyewear to create a Jones New York eyewear collection for women.

The new line will feature non-ophthalmic eyewear and will include sunglasses, reading glasses and eyewear accessories.

“With more than 40 years of experience in design, production and retail distribution, Glance is a leader in the eyewear space,” says Nick Woodhouse, president and chief marketing officer, ABG. “We are thrilled to partner with them on the expansion of Jones New York and reinforce its position as a leading women’s fashion and lifestyle brand.”

“We are excited to come on board as Jones New York’s new eyewear partner,” says Joseph Massa, executive vice president, sales, Glance Eyewear. “Jones New York is an iconic lifestyle brand with remarkable consumer appeal and potential for growth in the eyewear category.”

The Jones New York eyewear collection will launch at retail in spring 2017.

Following recent licenses in handbags, hosiery and footwear, Marika announced this week it had signed a multi-year licensing agreement with Glance Eyewear for women’s sunglasses and reading glasses, as well as related eyewear accessories.
The first collection to be produced under the Marika label will debut to the market in August and begin shipping December for the Spring 2015 season.

Marika style 53301 features a lens with a mirrored coating for superior glare and UV protection. The frame is made of a lightweight polycarbonate material
