Hi Dolls! I’ve missed you all! 😭 I know all of you might be wondering why I have not been updating this account for quite some time now. This will be a long post so be warned 😅 Let me start by apologizing for just leaving you all in the dark without any explanation.
A few months ago, I permanently changed my address to: United States of America. It was tough leaving my family, my job and Dashdolls behind.
I decided to push back on bidding farewell to all of you, my extended family because I just couldn’t find the strength. Saying goodbye to my immediate family was hard enough 😭 Saying goodbye to you will crush me even more 💔 Dashdolls has been a huge part of my life for the past 10 years (it has been my longest relationship to be honest lol). For the past 10 years I’ve been hand picking and putting outfits together for you to shop and enjoy every Sunday. It was a lot of work to be honest but I never once considered it a burden despite my 9-5 Monday-Friday job. It was what I looked forward to week after week in fact.
Now I’ve come to this day. The day of acceptance. The day that I grew enough balls to finally and genuinely acknowledge the fact that I can’t keep holding on to something I can’t have anymore 💔. I live in a different world now. I have no access to local dressmakers or cheap fabrics. No cheap local couriers with friendly riders who takes good care of your packages and delivers them to your door the next day (for metro Manila buyers that is 😅). God I miss it! The thrill of running a business, the buying, styling, shooting and selling. Even packing orders for shipping! All of it! Gaaaah! But...... as much as I’d like to continue providing you with outfits every week, I simply can’t anymore.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for all the love and support you’ve shown me and my little business through all these years. Dashdolls is my baby. I gave it life, nurtured it, brought it from the ground up. Now it’s 60k strong and none of that would’ve been possible if it weren’t for all of you. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! Thank you for supporting local businesses. Thank you for inspiring us to continue doing what we love to do.
I never expected this post to be this long to be honest. I got carried away lol I don’t know if you guys will ever understand the amount of love I have for this little community we’ve built. Old loyal buyers that have become my closest friends, new ones who were never shy of letting me know how much they loved or hated their orders. The success of Dashdolls is because of all of you. I cannot emphasize that enough. Once again, thank you ❤️
But! I will not end this post on a sad note. I’m saying goodbye to “lighting up your closets with clothes” but I’m not saying goodbye to Dashdolls and what it stands for in general. Dashdolls is about providing you with fabulous and timeless pieces you can keep for years and years without spending too much. And that will continue! Someday, when I’ve settled and become fully adjusted with my new address, Dashdolls will make a huge comeback! This time with a new product line for you to add to your “Dashdolls Collection” 😘
In the mean time, I want all of you to know that I’ve left a few of my remaining stocks to my beloved sister in law Mitch Brown and brother. The two of them are managing BROWN Clothing. They have a store in DANAO CEBU. You can also shop online through their online account. They have a wide array of products including baby stuff Baby Brown and men’s clothing. They just recently updated their inventory just in time for the holidays!

Once again, from the bottom of my fashion addicted heart 😅 THANK YOU! I hope I still stay connected with you by the time Dashdolls makes a comeback! When? You’ll have to stay tuned 😘
XOXO,
Melanie ❤️
