Becoming a father taught me a kind of attention I had never known before.
I saw the way a woman’s life shifts — quietly, then all at once. The demands it places on her and the poise it requires.
Watching my daughters navigate that taught me what it means to design with real intention. This Father’s Day, I find myself thinking less about what I have made, and more about what they showed me.
My daughters did not just give me a new role, they gave me a reason to listen more carefully, and to design with that same care.
To the women celebrating the fathers in their lives, thank you for the grace with which you do It.
