Frances de Lourdes is a New York based brand founded by Alejandra Echeverria. The label takes its name from her mother's and father’s middle names, respectively. Alejandra was born and raised in New York City and has spent time living in Bogota and Paris as well. She was educated at Skidmore College and Parsons The New School of Design. Her experience includes over a decade designing for various N

ew York fashion brands. A long time lover, wearer and collector of tees, as she got into her 30s she felt the need to polish up the uniform a bit. After a long, unsuccessful search to replace some beloved vintage tees, she set about creating an updated version - the perfect tee. Keeping the comfort, ease and love-worn feel, but meticulously updating the fit and fabric to create a collection of refined classic tees and tanks that have a sensous feel and are truly versatile. Perfect for running around, working, an evening out or sleeping in. These became the starting point for the rest of the collection. Frances de Lourdes clothing is made locally in New York working closely with highly skilled manufacturers.
