Respect The Cool is about not being afraid of taking chances and putting it all on the line for what you believe in. Becoming one with your craft and/or talent and breaking through the barriers in which society sets on the creative mind. The Founder, Mic Blaque, embodied this concept with one thing in mind, Hip Hop. Respect The Cool is a collective of different types of artists (musical and visual) who all believe that they have something to offer in the world of art. Late 2013, Mic Blaque teamed up with MoNae Mayweather, who was responsible for the photography and art direction for the project, to drop his 6th in-studio EP entitled Respect The Cool. Due to the positive feed back Mic Blaque received from his EP Respect The Cool, he decided to take things to the next level by crafting an entertainment company based around the same concepts that brought forth the Respect The Cool EP. With a solid team with the understanding of conceptual art and vision to touch the world with their ideas, Mic Blaque and MoNae Mayweather felt that the possibilities would be endless.
