This is Kail. He fell into the cycle of homelessness when his father passed. He used to go to St. John’s and was on his way to getting a degree, but times got tough.

Thousands of people walk past him everyday and look down on him. When we crossed paths, he was sitting against the wall with his head down and a sign saying he needed money for a room. We gave him money for the room and some food.

People tend to get caught up in what they can do for themselves to get ahead and don’t realize the struggle that others are going through. Take a second out of your day and make someone else’s. It’s the little things that make a big difference.
