The concept of Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection focused on freedom and movement and paid homage to pioneering women. Keri’s character, Kate Wyler on Netflix’s The Diplomat, breaks barriers in her albeit unintentional career trajectory.

Chanel’s SS2025 Runway Look 20 featured this ivory tweed jacket and matching skirt. Potentially prim on anyone else, the silhouette feels modern, fresh, and intentionally pared back on Keri.

With Season 3 of The Diplomat premiering recently on Netflix, I thought it would be a good time to reflect on Keri’s style last year. Pictured here, at the Plaza Hotel in NYC for the Season 2 Premiere, Keri dons a long wool dress with a twisted waist by Dries Van Noten. Her chic chignon highlights the surprising low back of her dress.

Dries Van Noten is known to create dialogue between quality craftsmanship and modern art and Keri’s character Kate Wyler tends to offer healthy debate in The Diplomat. This is an appealing dress to wear through the holidays, when we might encounter a similar type of discourse.
