Wakey wakey, eggs & bacon!

I hit snooze three times this morning. Not once, not twice — three full times. And when I finally dragged myself up, I sat on the edge of the bed just staring at the floor for a solid two minutes. No motivation. No spark. Just a person who had to be somewhere and wasn't sure they wanted to go. Here's the thing though — I went anyway. Showed up half-awake, coffee in hand, moving at about 60% capacity. And somewhere in the middle of doing the thing, the energy showed up late to the party. It always does. The trick is you can't wait for it to arrive before you start. Motivation is a follower, not a leader. You move first.

Try harder, show up half-dead if you have to, and let the doing drag the feeling along with it. 💪

Sun's up, it's time to get to it.

Yesterday I set my alarm for 5am, hyped myself up the night before, told three people I was "starting fresh." Alarm went off. I hit snooze four times. By the time I actually got up, I'd already started mentally writing the excuse. Sound familiar? Here's the thing — I still got up. Late, groggy, a little annoyed at myself. But I showed up to the thing I said I would. Not perfectly. Not on time. Just… eventually, stubbornly, there. That's the whole game sometimes.

Try anyway. Show up late if you have to. TRY.HAR.DUH. 💪

Good morning, beautiful soul! 🌅 What a gift it is to open your eyes to a brand-new Sunday — a whole fresh canvas just waiting for you to make your mark on it.

There's this moment a lot of us know too well: you set your alarm with big plans, maybe you were going to work out, meal prep, finally start that project. Then morning comes and... you hit snooze. Twice. Maybe three times. And by the time you're up, half the day feels "wasted" before it even started. Here's the thing though — a guy named Marcus used to beat himself up every single Sunday over this exact routine. One week, instead of spiraling into guilt, he just got up whenever he got up, made his coffee, and started anyway. Turns out, starting at 10 AM still counts. Showing up late to your own life is still showing up.

You don't need a perfect morning to have a powerful day. Try hard, stumble forward, and show up anyway — that's the whole game. Try. Har. Duh. 💪

Good morning, beautiful soul! 🌅 What an absolute gift it is to wake up today — a brand new Saturday, a blank page, and every reason in the world to make something of it.

There's this guy — let's call him Marcus. Every Saturday morning, Marcus told himself he'd finally start that project he'd been putting off for months. And every Saturday, he'd wake up, make his coffee, sit down… and then somehow end up reorganizing his sock drawer instead. One day, his daughter walked in and asked, "Dad, why do you keep getting ready to start but never actually start?" He laughed it off, but the question stuck. That afternoon, he opened his laptop and wrote exactly one terrible, messy, imperfect paragraph — and you know what? It was the best thing he'd ever done. Not because it was good. Because it existed.

Try.Har.Duh. — Stop getting ready to start. The sock drawer can wait. Your one messy paragraph is calling. 💪

Some days success looks like hustle. Other days it looks like a quiet lake, a fishing line, and your best buddy along for the ride. 🎣🌅 Peace isn't the reward for trying hard — it's part of the process. Breathe, reset. Try. Har. Duh. The next time💛

Good morning, beautiful human! 🌅 What a gift it is to wake up today — another chance to breathe, to move, to try again.

So there's this thing that happens when you're learning to cook. You follow the recipe exactly — you measure, you time it, you do everything right — and somehow it still comes out wrong. The sauce is too salty, the rice is mushy, and you're standing in the kitchen at 7 PM wondering if you should just order pizza. Here's the thing though: you tasted it. You noticed the salt. Next time, you'll add less. Nobody gets good at cooking by reading about cooking — they get good by burning a few pots and eating a few questionable meals. The mess is the lesson.

You don't have to get it perfect today. You just have to get it going. Try. Har. Duh. 💪

Good morning 🌅 What a gift it is to wake up today — a brand-new Thursday, a brand-new chance to get it right (or at least get it *started*).

There's this guy — let's call him Marco. Every morning for three weeks, Marco set his alarm to go to the gym at 6 AM. Every morning, he hit snooze. One day, he just… put his sneakers on. That's it. He didn't even drive to the gym — he just put the sneakers on and sat on the edge of his bed. But something about that small act got him to stand up. Then to walk to the door. Then to actually go. He didn't have a perfect workout. He didn't transform overnight. But he showed up — and that sneaker moment taught him that starting doesn't require motivation. It just requires one tiny move.

You don't need to feel ready. You just need to lace up. Try.Har.Duh. 👟
