He’s been curating lives and style since he opened his first eponymous atelier in New York City in 2003. Renowned for explaining the ins and outs of Bespoke to inquiring minds he curates the wardrobes and lifestyles of gentlemen and rogues all over the world. He’s also been known to throw the occasional party, indulge in the odd cheeky lunch, drive too fast and enjoy life just a little too much in

the company of his friends. Although Duncan hails from London, his view of the world was heavily influenced by years spent learning about food, wine and life in the south of France. When he’s not off on an adventure he likes nothing more than to sit and watch the world go by in the Cours Saleya, Nice, France.

DQ was lucky enough to land himself at a dinner in Paris not long ago hosted by his old buddy Arnaud Tronche with none other than Charles Lachaux in attendance to lead the lucky diners through an examination of Arnoux Lachaux wines from before and after he took the helm, as well as his much celebrated side project negoc wines that are not really negoc.

It became very apparent very quickly sitting opposite Charles that his rise to the forefront of the Burgundy discourse was not luck but serious intellect and well considered skunk works style experimentation to give us the bountiful wines he is making. Precise, elegant, perfumed, with structure and length.

Get ready for the DQ dinner in NYC. Needless to say, only Gentlemen, Rogues, and Ladies need apply to part of this breaking of bread of characters with character.

Like many cocktailists we're very fond of the Negroni renaissance...so much so that we found this fantastic "Negroni" tweed and had it cut into an epic 3 button 3 piece to wear while inhaling a few of a Monday night. Needless to say there was some debate as to the horn buttons and thread to make the commission a fait accompli.
