As I am just now starting to see the light through the fog of this cold, other tasks pop up on my calendar and pre-empt the digitizing effort. But I am the little engine that could. I think I can, I think I can. And hopefully soon, I WILL!

When your husband comes home from the doctor's office and and the next day you are in the nursery with toddlers...*Ach-Hoo!!" That was last week. Still suffering.

Some of today's time was spent actually digitizing.... Realistically, trying which method would be best for a large, dense piece of art. Stay tuned to see how I solve this puzzle.

Next milestone has arrived: The basement is empty of my office and non-stitchery crafting supplies. I nearly forgot there was stuff still down there, but I remembered that I owned a very distinctive snowflake "photo box" for my Christmas stamps. I knew I hadn't unpacked it, because if I had, I would see it in my office. Luckily I remembered seeing a box marked "R office" when I was in the basement in the spring. So I went and looked. Eureka! Voila!! Found it! Along with other actual office supplies of which I have long since purchased replacements.... Now I just need to find homes for everything....again....

It has finally arrived! The day that the garage is empty of all boxes. Well there are still some in there, but they are boxes of donations or objects that belong to my husband and he can deal with those in his own time. Now my attention is turned to finding a home for all the objects I want/need to keep. No small task since this house as 1 less room. Current goal: get back to stitching/digitizing before the middle of September. I'm being realistic here :)

I see a light at the end of the garage! I have been working with my mom and my husband and together we have made HUGE headway! As I write this, there are more than 6 boxes lined up and packed to be driven to donation centers. And we aren't done yet! But I see the light at the end of the garage and it isn't obscured by boxes!

New Promise to myself and my husband: starting tomorrow I will do my level best to unpack at least 4 boxes every day and sort the items into piles of Keep, Give Away, and "I need help deciding". After that is done I will either digitize or stitch. Hrmmm no where to find the power cords for the machines.....

Sadness is: seeing a set of artwork you absolutely adore....2 hours after it has been sold out :( Happiness is: remembering your husband would smack you silly if you bought more artwork before you use all that you currently own.

Sooo frustrating to have another creative idea, but know that I should finish the work on the current set.....but this idea is soooo good!

I started working on my inspirational pieces and then I had another creative idea to put some artwork together (with the artist's permission), but since that is going to take some time, I am back to the roosters 85% and working on the artwork the other 15%...ahhh the life of a creative brain is never boring. :)

Feeling a little blue and down today, so I am putting a pause on the roosters for the day to work on some inspirational pieces I have been saving for just such a day.
