Today, we’d like to feature our Memorial Ornaments.
While I hope your Christmas is filled with joy, I also recognize the heartache and pain that comes from missing a loved one.
Each year as a child and still as an adult, we lug those ornament boxes out of storage and decorate our tree. Our tree is filled with ornaments that we have collected throughout the years from travels, events, and school crafts. My favorite memory is to relive those memories with my family while we are decorating for the season.
It does my heart good to know that next year, when I drag out that ornament storage box, inside will be a John-Deere green ornament honoring my precious Dad. I know that many treasured stories will be shared with my kiddos who didn’t get to experience the amazing man that they call Poppa.
