Friends, we have started a kids division called and we are hosting our first foraging field trip! Our goal is to foster free thinking, creativity, and a connection with Nature.

About the event:

Join BLOOM WILD KIDS at our first ever field trip to Jovingo Hills in Newnan, GA on May 29th! Owner, Jasi Jovingo will take us on a foraging adventure throughout their property which boasts over 30 species of mushrooms. 🍄 Afterwards, we’ll enjoy scratch made blackberry lemonade (gathered from the grounds of Jovingo Hills) while Jasi provides us with a wildcrafting art experience.

If you wonder where my hope and positivity comes from, ask me about today and what Easter really means. Ask me about Jesus and who He is. Or, better yet, pray to know Him, seek to encounter Him, open your heart to feel Him, close your eyes in silence and open your ears to hear Him.

It’s because of Him, we will live with our loved ones again, because of Him, we know true love, because of Him we have a perfect example of how to walk hand in hand to our Father above. 💛

Happy Easter! If you need an extra prayer of hope in your life, let me know. I will gladly add you to my list. That said, He already knows your needs and will take care of you and yours in the best ways. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart… and He shall direct thy paths…. “

Nature walks are portals to another world! We’ve been inspired by 1000 Hours Outside and have committed to at least an hour outside each day. It’s crazy to me that we’ve become such a sedentary and indoor society. There is magic that happens outside. We come alive because we are meant to be one with Nature! Take a look at the wondrous world that is just beyond your back door. When we are outside I tell my daughter to close her eyes and listen with her Nature ears, and we name the things we hear (whistling wind through the trees, birds, frogs…) And then I tell her to open her eyes and look with her Nature eyes and see what she can see!

Enjoy the adventure that’s right outside your door.

This is my favorite time of year! I encourage you to take a break from your digital devices and take a walk outside… Take inventory of all of God’s beautiful creations… the Sun, the leaves, the grass, the sounds of birds and bugs… I promise you’ll come back feeling grounded, refreshed, peaceful, and more in tune with the whisperings of the Spirit that inspires! ☀️
