Just a brief update since I have not posted in a while. I've been extremely busy with our house remodel. What started as a three-story addition on the back of the house has turned into a complete gut job down to the studs. β

It's been extremely challenging because when you start remolding an old home built in 1914, you keep uncovering things that need updating and repairing. The only thing that remains inside the house is the dining room built-ins, the media room cabinets, and the stair banister, although I might also scrap that. I've been overwhelmed by the number of decisions I need to make daily. β

I have been thinking of posting a Story from the house, but I feel I need to wait until the roof is on, windows are in, concrete is poured in the basement, and siding is on the outside. Once all this happens, I can breathe a sigh of relief that we are ready for winter. We have had too many things go wrong so far for me to jinx anything just yet.β

Often I think how grateful I am for our amazing Classic Girl customers and to be filling orders every day. Thank you to all those who shopped early! It helps with inventory management and overwhelm. Also, thank you for all the kind emails and reviews, they always lift me up!β
