🧵 NEW MEMBER SPOTLIGHT | Out Standing Stitches

Sometimes when we talk about the business community, it's easy to picture big storefronts, large employers, or companies with big teams.

But some pretty incredible things are happening inside our smallest Perry County businesses, too.

This week we're excited to welcome Out Standing Stitches of Landisburg to the Perry County Chamber of Commerce!

Out Standing Stitches specializes in designing and creating custom caving and outdoor gear, from backpacks and survey bags to bib overalls and shorts, along with general gear repairs.

And yes... custom caving gear is being made right here in Perry County. How cool is that? 🦇

That's also exactly why we believe there's a place in the Chamber for businesses of every size.

You don't have to have a large staff or a big building to have an impact.

Chamber membership can help a small business make new connections, become more visible in the community, and find opportunities to grow. But it works both ways.

Your experience matters, too.

The lessons you've learned building your business, solving problems, finding your customers and doing something a little differently might be exactly what another Chamber member needs to hear.

What a weekend! We helped with an Orientation to Cave Rescue class here in Pennsylvania. We were super excited to see lots of our bibs and backpacks being used in the mock rescue. Unfortunately, we did not get a bib brigade photo, post cave, because we had to pack up quickly and head to a "for real" incident.
