Anna Nieman, a Boston based formal-wear designer, always took pleasure in drawing and painting. The stunning view of the Nieman River next to the village in the heart of Europe where Anna grew up, inspired her as a painter and she always carried her love for this special place in her heart. For this reason she adopted the name Nieman as the name for her company and her designer-self. Anna always d

reamt of becoming a formal-wear designer, designing clothes for herself at an early age, spending hours on the fittings even then. But life made this road to her dream long, if exciting, winding through art school and over the ocean to a new world. She continued her fascination with fashion in adulthood as a professional model in the U.S. Anna’s knowledge of fabrics and craftsmanship were polished and mastered in endless hours of fittings and her passion for drawing and painting helped to sharpen her eye for balance, proportion, and details. Her vision was also inspired by the paintings of the old masters and by vintage glamour, as well as contemporary trends. Anna Nieman’s bridal-design philosophy is a commitment to perfection and equilibrium of shapes and forms.
