Ever wondered how selling to Once Upon A Child works? It’s quick, simple, and a great way to turn your kids’ gently used items into cash! Here’s what to expect when you bring items in to sell:
🛍 Step 1: Bring in your items
Bring us your gently used kids clothing, shoes, toys, and baby equipment. Please make sure your items are freshly laundered/wiped down.
🖥 Step 2: Check in at the kiosk
When you arrive, sign in at our kiosk with your ID (our system now scans IDs). You’ll also enter how many items you’re selling.
🏷 Step 3: We label your items
Each bin, tote bag, basket, or larger equipment item will get a label with your name, date, time, and item count so everything stays organized.
🧾 Step 4: Receive your receipt
We’ll give you a receipt to keep for pickup. If you lose it, don’t worry—your ID will work too.
✨ Bonus: There’s a 40% OFF one regular-price clothing item coupon at the bottom that you can use at the time of the pickup.
🔍 Step 5: We review your items
Our team carefully checks each item. We may pass on items that have:
• Stains
• Snags or excessive wear
• Color fading
• Older styles
• Other condition issues
🚫 Items we cannot accept include:
Car seats, bathing items, feeding items, diaper warmers, monitors, and similar items.
💻 Step 6: Pricing your items
All accepted items are entered into our system, which generates pricing based on brand, style, and condition.
📱 Step 7: Get your text notification
Once your buy is complete, you’ll receive a text message letting you know it’s ready.
💵 Step 8: Pick up your offer
Bring your receipt or ID to the registers to pick up your buy.
You can:
• Accept the full offer
• Decline the offer
• Or take back some or all of your items
Cash and store credit are the same amount.
⏱ Good to know:
We process buys in the order they arrive — first come, first served.
Have questions? Our team is always happy to help. Bring in those gently used items and let them earn you some cash!
