Back from Normandy and boy do I have a lot of work ahead of me. There are a ton of emails, text messages, social media messages to dig through plus I need to go through both my Singer 144W machines to fix the issues and problems I was having prior to the trip.

Also, a huge thank you to all the new followers that have came only in the last week. Just broke 4,500 followers last night! I was hoping to break 5,000 by end of year. That might be happening sooner!

To all my new followers, hope you stick around as some major changes are coming in the next few months. Until then, check out previous posts and see what I'm all about.

Making my way home. Was an absolute blast and already making plans for the next trip. Between the backlog of emails, text, messages and orders, there will also be some major changes coming to shop layout and production. Changes are coming so stay tuned.

Last day here in the UK before heading back home.

What a surreal experience. I can't thank Dean enough with Joe's Motor Pool for the invite. I am absolutely honored to be here with them and my others in this industry. I've said it many times on this trip, it feels like imposter syndrome sitting with some great players in the jeeping world like

Jimmy Strauss Jeeps
And many more who have put their fingerprint in the jeep world.
Also to be able to put faces to many Facebook friends. Such a great community of people.

Of course, I cannot thank the crew from Joe’s Motor Pool Restorations enough for all there dedicated work on getting all these Jeeps prepared for the trip along with keeping them running while in France. Tip of the hat to you guys! 🫡

This was more than a simple vacation but a networking trip with some great people and looking forward to what the future has in store. Things are looking bright😎

And, to have the ability to share this experience with my dad, made it a one in a million trip. Something I will ways remember.

Time is coming to a close here in France. The Ford 4WS GP is all loaded up for the trip back across the channel.

Everywhere we stopped since in France, I've checked every jeep I could find to see if any had my seat cushions. One of the last days here and still haven't seen a set.

And then, a jeep showed up at the Château with a seat set of mine! They found me!😅

It was great to meet you Alfie and hear first hand from a customer. Another item checked off my list this week.

I originally planned some long elaborate post about D-Day and being here for the anniversary but after standing on Omaha beach early in the morning, knowing what happen here back in 1944....words cannot explain it.

That's about all I can say.

Short day today as I had some networking to do....remember, this is a business trip....

Went to Sainte-Mère-Église. Was cool to see all the armor and my favorite rig, the M26 Pacific. Was a bit disappointed with how tourists trap it is though. But. checked it off my list.

Other stop was the Azeville Battery. This was a neat location as you had a "cell phone" to listen to as you walk through each part of the battery. Seeing the direct hit by the USS Nevada and how it went completely through the battery was amazing!

Trip is coming to a close soon. Can't believe how quick it went.
