☕ **TEA WISDOM WEDNESDAY**

**Here's something your wine-loving friends may appreciate: tea has a sense of place, too.**

Where tea is grown—the elevation, soil, rainfall, climate and even the season it's harvested—can influence what you eventually taste in your cup.

That's one reason two black teas can taste completely different, even though they both come from the same tea plant.

One may be bold and malty. Another might be delicate, floral or slightly sweet.

And that's part of the fun of tea: **there's always another cup to discover.**

**🎃 PUMPKINS & PORCELAIN IS BACK! 🫖🍂**

Last fall, we covered the tables at Spill the Tea with pumpkins, pretty papers, ribbons and Mod Podge…and watched the most wonderful creations come to life.

But looking back at these pictures, we remembered something else.

**The best part wasn’t just the pumpkins.** ❤️

It was sitting around the tables together. Creating. Laughing. Sharing ideas. Admiring what everyone else was making. And, of course, enjoying a little tea along the way.

So we're doing it again!

We'll provide a pumpkin and all the supplies you need to create your own one-of-a-kind decoupaged pumpkin. Choose from our collection of beautiful papers, napkins, ribbons and embellishments and make it completely your own.

🌿 **Sunday Reflections**

This week, we found ourselves thinking about all the little moments that happen inside these old walls.

The laughter that drifts across the room.

The quiet conversations over a second cup of tea.

The birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, and unexpected afternoons that become treasured memories.

It's easy to think life is made up of the big moments.

But perhaps it's really the small ones—shared around a table—that become the stories we remember most.

As we begin another week, we hope you find time to slow down, gather with someone you love, and create a story worth remembering.

Thank you for allowing Spill the Tea Tearoom to be part of so many of yours.

🔥 TEXAS HEAT: 1. TEAROOM AC: 0. 🫖😂

Well, friends… the Texas heat has officially won this round.

Our poor AC at Spill the Tea Tearoom has gone completely KAPUTT. And after a couple of days of trying to convince ourselves that “it’s really not THAT warm in here…” we have accepted defeat. 😂

The GOOD NEWS? 🎉
The new AC unit has arrived, and it’s being installed TODAY!

The not-so-good news? By the time our wonderful AC crew gets everything installed, the tearoom will likely be approaching “Would anyone care for a hot cup of tea in this sauna?” temperatures. 🥵🫖

And while we love serving hot tea, we generally prefer that our guests are not also steeping. 😂

So, rather than opening later today and hoping our shiny new AC can perform a Texas-sized miracle, Spill the Tea Tearoom will be CLOSED TODAY while we get our new unit installed and give this beautiful old house time to cool back down.

We hate missing a Saturday with you, but we’d much rather welcome you back when the tea is hot, the scones are fresh, and the ROOM is not. 😆

Thank you for understanding and for always rolling with the adventures of running a tearoom in Texas! 💙

We’ll see you next week, hopefully enjoying the glorious sound of a brand-new AC humming away. ❄️🫖
