My Little Arrows

My Little Arrows Handmade products for the family Hello! I’m a DIY, crafty, yoga-pant wearing mom and always have a cup of coffee nearby.

My name is Angie and while I'm a wife and mama of two amazing kids, I find great joy in sewing and creating all things for the family. As my kids get older, my shop focus is continuously shifting toward designing and providing products we are using and needing in the current season we are living in. Thanks for following along with our shop and supporting this small business that’s been such a bles

sing to myself and my family. Psalm 127:3-5

Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame
when they contend with their opponents in court.

Hello old friends 💁🏼‍♀️ Picking up where we left off just over a year ago, that mom-themed small business that was mentioned at the close of My Little Arrows is launching this Friday.

With the help of my co-founder and business partner, April, we’ve created an online graphic apparel business that focuses on providing fun and affordable fanwear for kids in sports and school. Once your kids get into elementary and older, it seems daily life for many families is a constant repeat of school, practices, and games. One way we can show our support to our little athletes as well as build community is through spirit wear. Our new shop, One West is launching this Friday, September 1 at 10am EST.

One West offers a variety of graphic t-shirts and sweatshirts, made locally in Avon, Indiana. I hope our collection of sport mom shirts (we’ve got grandma’s covered soon!) and game day shirts for young athletes is something your family could enjoy. Please like and follow our new page if you’re interested in seeing the new and useful products we can use in the next season of life once your kids have outgrown the things I loved creating for them with My Little Arrows.

Back to school 📝 This isn’t our first first day rodeo, but it certainly hits different this year. Our oldest is beginning her last year in elementary and this will also be the last year my kids are in the same school together until high school, which then my daughter will be driving. Where does the time go?! I’m thankful for the opportunity to get to be with them all summer and on school breaks because they sure do grow up fast. New things are coming in all directions 🤍

This is it…Last day in my sewing room 🧵. It’s a good kind of goodbye. The kind that says it’s ok to let go of things that once were and a welcoming of change ahead. I needed to completely close this chapter before starting another, and I’m so glad I took the time to do so.

Next week we’ll start transitioning my new work space. I’ve got a notebook full of planned products for for my upcoming mom-themed business. I’ll be sharing more about that later this summer as those ideas come to life.

I’ve had a few people ask to purchase the patterns of My Little Arrows and I’m praying about if/when the time is right for that 🥰 . I’m honored to know that both customers and other makers believe my products are so special. Truly. As always, thank you for your support of this little big venture. It has given me such joy.

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by our shop at the Indy Mommy Market today for one final farewell. My sunglasses concealed tears that were constantly glazing my eyes. Not out of sadness, but of humbleness and joy to hear so many of you express your sweet sentiments, remind me that you’ve been a customer of our shop for years and have many of our products in your homes. To hear that some of you drove great distances today to be there with us is the epitome of supporting small business. And to those that I just met today for the first time, your excitement for your purchases with us reminded me of when and why I started this little business. Your kindness will stay with me and encourage me into this next season and beyond. I truly didn’t know what to expect today, but our sales far surpassed anything I could have imagined. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We will update our website with leftover inventory on Monday for anyone that isn’t local and wanted to grab a few things before our children’s shop officially closes on May 24.

Cheers to the end of an era and exciting things to come from us with our next small business endeavor 🤍

As I’m cleaning out my sewing room while simultaneously market prepping, I’m working with the best of prints… the ones that I have collected over the years, waiting for the right time and product to create. This Americana fabric came from a little quilt shop I came across in Nevada. Who knew it would eventually make one of my favorite playing card holders ever. We’ll have 4 of these coming to next weekend 🇺🇸

In the past 6 years, this little sewing business has been one of the biggest joys of my life. The opportunity to create and sew products for little ones all over the country has encouraged me in more ways than you know. My kids were 2 and 3 when this all began and they’ve been my inspiration for each piece of fabric that’s been stitched across my machine. Know that every purchase, whether online or at a market, has immensely blessed our family. This community of small shop supporters and small shop owners has become family and forever changed us.

This past winter I felt an unexpected and overwhelming awareness that my season of life has recently pivoted. With my kiddos in school full time, I’m connecting less with sewing products for babies and toddlers and connecting more with my role in wearing all the mom hats of school aged children. My days are consumed less with the need to entertain my kids and more with guiding their character, cheering for them at the ball fields, and supporting them in the classroom. I’ve been praying about what this new season means for my work and with that have some important news to share…

My Little Arrows is going to be closing our shop later this month. This decision was not made lightly, but with it comes peace, so we know it’s the right one. We will be bringing a full inventory with all of our products to the Indy Mommy Market next weekend and we hope to see you there for a final market farewell. We will post our remaining inventory online after the market for online customers. There will not be a restock afterwards so our plan is to sew as much as possible these next two weeks.

In the upcoming months, our shop will be rebranding and transitioning to a new mom-themed product line. I’m not ready to share all the details at this time, but more to come soon. We will change the name of this page at that time and launch thereafter. I do hope you’ll stay with us to see where that road leads as part two for this momprenuer. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting us through so many seasons. It’s truly been a beautiful ride.

Love & Cheers,
Angie
