Well, you guys, we’ve been a little quiet around here, but we’ve got a new face to introduce! 💜🐴

We picked up Kyber today and put him in with Petunia so he could have a buddy. We thought this might be a sweet little introduction.

Petunia had a slightly different interpretation of the assignment. 😂

There are BIG feelings, some very angry opinions, and one miniature horse determined to make sure the baby understands exactly who was here first!

Welcome home, Kyber! I have a feeling these two are going to keep us entertained. 💜

I’ve been a little absent lately, and there’s a reason for that.

Yesterday marked 15 years since my husband died. That date never really gets easier. It’s one of those days that carries a weight all its own, and sometimes you just have to give yourself permission to step back and feel it.

But this morning, the sun came up anyway. 🌅

Every morning, the sun will rise to remind you that even when yesterday was difficult, you made it through.

Some days, making it through is enough.

Here’s to a new morning, a little more light, and taking things one day at a time. 💜

Today’s embroidery project carries a little more meaning for me than most.

I made several “Freedom” shirts, including some in red. Mine is blue with red stitching, and I chose those colors intentionally.

One year ago today, our country lost Charlie Kirk. I didn’t know him personally, but I watched his videos and found myself agreeing with much of what he had to say about faith, family, and country.

But it wasn’t only what he believed that stood out to me. He was willing to educate, ask questions, listen, and have open and honest conversations with people who didn’t necessarily agree with him.

The ability to disagree, debate, and still have a real conversation feels like a dying art in our country.

His passing affected me on an emotional level, and I wanted to remember today in a way that felt genuine to me without making it something loud or political.

Sometimes one word says it all.

Freedom. 🇺🇸

Apparently, there is a study that tells you how many horses you should own based on your birth month. 🐴

I’m a May baby…

And apparently I’m supposed to own however many horses I can fit in a field.

Well… I’d say I’m currently SEVERELY underwhelming in this category. 😂

My current horse count: 0.
My recommended horse count: “How big is the field?”

And honestly, I’m REALLY glad nobody in our family was born in December… because December says you should own as many horses as years you’ve been alive. 😳

That could get expensive REAL quick. 😂

So now I need to know…

A horse show weekend needs good food, and we definitely had that covered! 🍴🐴

A big thank you to Red Leg Provisions for keeping us fed all weekend at the LNJ Ranch UDJC Labor Day Show. Everything was delicious, and having good food right there at the show makes a long weekend just a little better!

And another BIG THANK YOU to LNJ Ranch for hosting the UDJC show and giving us another great weekend of horses, friends, and dressage. We appreciate all the work that goes into putting these shows together!

We’ve had a great weekend and are already looking forward to the next one. 💜

🌅 Last day at the LNJ Ranch UDJC Labor Day Show!

The morning started with a beautiful Oklahoma sunrise on the way in, and now we’re all set up and ready for another day at the show. 🐴

Stillwater, THANK YOU! 💜

We want to send a big thank you to everyone who stopped by The Tack Wrangler at the CPDS Dressage Show last weekend. We appreciate everyone who shopped with us, came by to visit, and supported our mobile tack shop.

Now it’s time to load up the trailer again!

We’ll be at LNJ Ranch in Marlow this weekend for the UDJC Labor Day Show.

Another day in Stillwater at the horse show, but this trip came with a very special little sneak peek. 💜🐴

While we were up this way, we got to visit a very important new family member — meet Kyber!

He won’t be coming home just yet because he still needs to be weaned, but in just a few short months he’ll be joining our family. Of course, right now those few months feel like they are going to take FOREVER!

We’re so excited about this boy and can’t wait for everyone to meet him once he finally comes home.

And a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to see us and shop with The Tack Wrangler this weekend. We truly appreciate every one of our customers and everyone who takes the time to stop by, say hello, shop with us, and support our small business. It means so much to us. 💜

Now begins the countdown until Kyber comes home!
