Day 7 update and a few more photos. The McAllister Fire looks like it is settling down buthe DNRC folks tell us it is being very stubborn. They are still patrolling the hills and finding recurring hot spots. We finally had a night with no visible flare-ups, but we are still seeing the occasional puff of smoke. We're not out of the woods yet, but we are sure feeling better! Thank you, once again, to all the fire personnel, neighbors, friends, and customers who called or messaged us. , , , ,

This is to let all of you know that Terry, Larry, and WesTrends Ranch Store are all safe and doing well! Many of you are probably aware of the McAllister Fire burning on and around Norris Hill. Our lane is the north end of the burn! Firefighters from around the state gathered here to protect the people, animals, and structure of the whole South Norris community. What a magnificent job they did! We can't express enough our heartfelt thanks to the firefighters. And that also goes for all of you that have checked in on us via text, social media, or old school phone call! The plan is to be back to normal and open Tuesday through Friday, 9-5 this week.
