- Repairs, troubleshoots SFC equipment in an efficient, prudent, and safe manner.

- Performs preventive maintenance, breakdown, repair and facility / equipment improvement projects

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Upgrade existing and develop new safety and environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance and/or improve operational performance in employee safety or environmental areas.
2. Understand environmental, health and safety regulations and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance
3. Provide training programs and updates for various regulatory programs to include at a minimum:
- Hazard Communications
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Fire Extinguishers
- Confined Spaces
- Machine Guarding
- Emergency Evacuation Plans
- Noise Abatement
- Hazardous Waste
- Lockout/Tagout
- Behavior based safety
- Ergonomics
4. Prepare monthly EHS report and all regulatory reporting.
5. Serves as an advisor to leadership team on all safety related matters.
6. Develops team and facilitates regular safety meetings
7. Participate in monthly divisional safety meetings
8. Responsible for conducting accident investigations and preparing report analysis on accident statistics to find root cause.
9. Responsible for near miss reporting, trend analysis and corrective action follow-up
10. Participates in monthly safety meetings
11. Lead all EHS-related projects such as machine guarding and ergonomic improvements
12. Conduct regular safety audits and necessary follow up to ensure projects get completed on time and as outlined.
13. Reviews OSHA logs for trend analysis

- Work closely with mechanical maintenance personnel during breakdowns and improvement projects.
- Assist plant operations personnel in solving complex problems and executing solutions and preventative measures.
- Assist in the scheduling, coordinating and arrangement of parts, tools, and equipment as needed for specified projects.
- Continuously search for new technologies that could improve the functioning of plant process control systems.
- Assist the Electrical Engineer in maintaining drawings, files, and other documents for existing equipment.

Job Summary:

Responsible for Carding productivity and ensuring the quality of all needle punched products that are manufactured on his/her equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the Carding productivity and quality of all needle punched products manufactured on his/her
equipment.
- Product Operation Set-Ups must be performed as instructed through Operation Set-Up Sheets, Plant Work Orders, and Quality Plans.
- Responsible for the documentation of all production and quality data as instructed, such as Card Batt Logs, Operator Carding Audits, Time Sheets, Batt Tickets, and Waste Reports.
- Organize and clean work area daily to ensure work area is efficient and safe.
- Clean equipment as instructed by Supervisor. This includes product change overs, daily cleaning schedules, and any projects assigned by Supervision.
- Train new employees.
- Assist Maintenance Staff in the repair and trouble-shooting of equipment.
- Pull and repair Needle Boards as scheduled and document as instructed.
- Observe all Safety Rules and regulations and advise Supervision of any safety issues that need attention.
- Perform all other duties as directed by Supervision.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required:

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years manufacturing desired, but not required.
- Attention to detail.
- Good math and reading skills.
- Ability to follow directions and specifications.
- Ability to lift 50-lbs regularly.
- Ability to push or pull and “A” Frame.
