I am not a gardener by any stretch of the imagination, but I am proud of these few blooms right here. I give Mike and my Momma the credit for these. They came from my Momma's house. When I was young, we had a hill in front of our house that was covered with daffodils. When the hill was flattened to build the new house Momma transferred those bulbs to the lake in the pasture. Years later, after I married, Mike, Momma and I went to the lake while they were in bloom and dug up several bulbs. Mike planted them in our flower bed on Brown Road and when we moved to North Augusta, we brought some here and he planted them outside our SunRoom. They aren't all blooming as you can see, but I still love them so much!

On January 1st, Jesus called my sweet mother in law home to be with Him. While I miss her, I am a bit jealous of what she is doing right now. Her mind is clear, her body is healed and I hope she is having the biggest dance party she has ever been to. Other than her love for God and her family, she loved music. I think she loved to dance as much or more than I did. I could just hold out my hands toward her and she would take my hands, start humming a tune and we would be dancing in a matter of seconds! She and I danced at a few of her grandchildren's weddings. What fun we had! We could talk for hours, sharing many things of the heart. She wasn't afraid to let me know if she thought I was not dealing with things in a good way, but she also let me know when she admired something that I was doing well. What I would want you to know most about her is that even if she couldn't remember my name, she always remembered who Jesus was and how much she loved Him! Just a couple of days before she left this earth, the only question she answered me with a nod was if she still loved Jesus and had she been talking to Him. There was no doubt where her heart was! What a testimony!!

So very thankful for all that God has done in our lives this past month! Just happy Mike can walk and has basically no pain! It is a very Happy Easter!!! 💕

Healing Hearts of Warren Belvedere celebrates 1 year! How appropriate since it's Breast Cancer Awareness month! We had guest speakers who work with the patients and one speaker who is a survivor. It was a blessing to see how this ministry supports women and men going through such a difficult time. We heard how the pillows mean so much to them. Join us if you would like to partner with this ministry. There are many ways to be a part of Healing Hearts. You can contact me here or call the church office to learn how to participate. We have donated 363 pillows our first year of service.
