Oh my goodness, yesterday was so much fun! We are overwhelmed at the turnout after our hiatus from shop sales, and are so grateful for all of the familiar and new friends that stopped in. Thank you for all of your love and support for our small business. ❤️
Once we pick a date for an August sale, we’ll be sure to share it on this page. We’ll also be creating a FB group for our page, which will allow you to be better notified of upcoming sale dates and events. 🥰

We’re so excited to see everyone tomorrow ▪️Sat. July 8▪️during our sale at Whatever Floats Your Goat vintage & antique shop in North English! With over 2,000 sq ft full of vintage and antique items dating from the 1860s to the 1980s, we definitely have something for everyone: Primitives, mid-century/mid-century modern, retro, vintage farmhouse, delicate antiques, and vintage decor for Christmas, Halloween, Easter, St. Patrick’s Day, and all of your patriotic celebration!

If you haven’t been in to see us yet, you won’t want to miss the tri-county area’s largest vintage shop with the biggest selection...and if you’ve visited before, you’ll love all the “new” items!

It will be a hopping Saturday morning in North English:

🛍 Stop by our sale at 108 S Main Street for some fun conversation and unique vintage finds (9am-12pm)

🛍 Visit Seven K right next door for a coffee, iced latte, or tea bomb (8am-12pm)

🛍 Hit the North English Farmer's Markett across the street for some fresh produce, baked goods and more (9am-11am)

🛍 Paint your own ceramics at Glaze the Galaxy down the street (9am-12pm)

🛍 And Freeman Foods North English will be serving up some delicious grilled goods for your lunch (11am-1pm)

Hello dear friends! Remember us? We had to take some extended time off from the shop to deal with life, but we’re now ready to take a break from life for some fun at the shop again!
We’ll be open this Saturday July 8th from 9:00am-12:00pm, and can’t wait to share all of our new fabulous vintage & antique finds we’ve picked up just for you! And for those who love all of the holidays, you won’t want to miss our new section dedicated entirely to vintage holiday decor!

Open tomorrow, Saturday April 24, from 9am-3pm! Did you know we have over 2,000 sq ft full of vintage and antique items, dating from the 1860s to the 1980s? Here are some shots of two aisles from the back of our building for proof 🤩 We have something for everyone: primitive, mid-century/mid-century modern, retro, delicate antiques, vintage/mid century Christmas (yes!!), and even some hand-crafted items from rustic pieces! Here’s a reason to celebrate: After a very long hiatus, we’ll be opening our doors again this Saturday from 9am-3pm! 🎉 And we’ve brought in a *lot* of great new vintage treasures for you! 😍 This weekend is also the North English City Wide Garage sales, as well as the Rural Road Trip! There will be several vintage shops open right here in North English, as well as dozens of shops in the surrounding area! Details for these additions events are included in the comments below. Update: Hello everyone! To protect ourselves and our patrons, we will continue to remain closed as long as the State of Iowa recommends social distancing. As two of our shop owners are with the public health department, our situation and dynamic are a little different.

We *WILL* begin to offer shopping by appointment only starting next week with specific guidelines in place, and will share more information about this opportunity in the days ahead! Please reach out to us if this is something you are interested in!

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to protect ourselves and our community during this pandemic. We truly miss all of you, and still plan to come up with a way to celebrate our **FIVE YEAR** anniversary with you! We sincerely appreciate your business and support during these trying times.

We’re so excited to announce another great shop opening in North English! Meredith will be opening Salt & Light Market this April, right across the street from us! Check out her page, and stay tuned for her grand opening announcement 😃

We have some big news to share with you! It has been a personal desire to see Salt & Light Market become a brick and mortar for some time now and we are beyond excited to announce that that dream has come true! Salt & Light Market will be taking residence in the sweet little town of North English a few short miles off Interstate 80. We can’t tell you how much all your support has meant to us over the past several years and we are so excited to see where this next phase of business life takes us! We are still finalizing our grand opening dates but plan to come see us as early as April!!
