These two pieces have been on my mind for these past few weeks constantly, so here they are! They were inspired by many different pieces and designs I’ve seen irl and online, so lets take a look at the inspiration behind the Petal top and the Bloom skirt 🥰

I finally made myself a dress 🥹 used my Vivienne dress pattern, and made it from a lace as someone suggested! made it sleeveless, but I think balloon sleeves would look amazing on this black lace 🥰

You need to make the prettiest little empire-waist paneled dress, and here are the fabrics you can use!

➔ Lightweight Cotton: a pretty classic, cotton will have a soft hand, a pleasant feel, and a beautiful drape

➔ Matte Satin: classy and more approachable than silk, it’ll give a firm drape and gorgeous volume

➔ Lace: lightweight and delicate, use lace as the shell of the dress for an elegant look

➔ Linen: breathable and formable, linen will give a soft, casual look to this paneled dress

➔ Denim: for a vintage 60’s look, use a light to mi-weight denim fabric (170-415 gsm)

➔ Silk Charmeuse: use this o give the Vivienne dress a luxurious and fluid sheen as it floats around you

➔ Crepe: light and breathable, crepe fabric has a beautiful texture and drape

➔ Jacquard: to give the dress a slightly more decorated look, choose a textured jacquard

➔ Poplin: has a tighter weave that will give a certain crispness to the shape of the dress

I hope this is helpful for your own Vivienne dress ❤️
