Wonderful way to spend my last few days of spring break!! I had the privilege of attending a tour of Marty Margulies’s art collection, the tour guide being Mr. Margulies himself! Arte provera was the topic of the day, an avant-garde Italian art movement in the 1960s. I feel very inspired.

Reflecting on the past year as we head into 2022, with gratitude and excitement for the future 🎉 Creating my senior collection, our senior show en plein air, high school graduation, an amazing trip to the Amalfi coast, moving to New York and becoming a student at Parsons - it’s all a dream come true 🙌🏻✨ I am so looking forward to the new year as I continue my studies in fashion design, and I have so many new projects that I can’t wait to share with you - soon! 💖✨

I am so thankful for my mentors, including Barbara from whom I have learned so much as she shares her life and experiences with me and other young people pursuing careers in fashion. To learn the history behind her own career, her creation of BIBA, and all her adventures has been wonderful. She has such a vast knowledge of the fashion industry that she helped define in the UK in the 60’s and 70’s, and is so happy to share her experiences with us. She is a treasure trove of fashion history and references, and interning with her reinforced my dream of becoming a fashion designer myself. I owe her so much gratitude! I love you Barbara! 💖
