My mother was an elementary school teacher, and collected ugly Christmas sweaters, WAY before they were cool. Each year, she celebrated "Denise's 28 days of Christmas," and wore each of her 28 sweaters to school in succession. When she died, I took her 28 Christmas sweaters and made 6 memory quilts for her parents, children, and closest sister.

The holidays are the perfect time to treat your loved ones (or yourself!) to something heartfelt and handmade. We can work with an idea you have or help you come up with the perfect, unique gift. I worked on this beautiful wedding dress over the summer. The bust was big, but couldn't be taken in with traditional methods due to the embroidery, and the bride preferred not to wear a strapless bra. I corrected the fit by building an inner construction to fill and smooth out the dress. The wedding was this weekend, and I'm excited to finally share the photos without ruining the surprise!
