** hey guys! we are now closing on this SUNDAY February 16 **

I hardly have the words to express my gratitude for the outpouring of love, support, and well wishes that have washed over the store in the last month. It has been overwhelming in the best way possible.

So, it is with a full heart that I announce we will be closing our doors on Saturday, February 22.

Dear Friends, Customers and Community,

It is with both sadness and excitement for the future I announce my decision to move on from A Child’s Garden.

I am immensely proud of the role my store has played in supporting families over the years as they figure out how they want to be in the world with their new babies.

As the landscape of downtown and the reality of the retail marketplace has shifted to more and more online shopping, the business side of a small brick and mortar shop has proven less viable. Perhaps someone else with the right energy and heart could find a niche for this community store in the changing marketplace. I am open to inquiries for someone to take over ownership of this special space.

If you or anyone you know is interested in continuing the store, please have them reach out to me by Friday, January 24. For the right person at the right time in their life, it would be the perfect project to take on this retail labor of love.
