While it might be tempting to share your meals with your dog, it's important to remember that not all human foods are safe for them. If youāre like me, you might also enjoy cooking for your fur baby, but it's important to be aware of foods that can be toxic to dogs and should be completely avoided.
So, before you hand over that extra treat from your plate, double-check the ingredients to keep your puppy healthy and happy.
Eating certain human foods can make dogs sick. Foods like chocolate, onions, grapes, fake sugars (like xylitol), alcohol, cooked bones, bread dough, fruit pits, milk, and salt can all be dangerous for dogs. It's important for pet owners to make sure their dogs can't get to these foods and to take them to the vet right away if they do eat them, so they can stay safe and healthy.
