This year’s Bolt raised approximately $1,400 for the Northport Museum (NAHA), bringing The Bolt’s lifetime donations to nearly $12,000. Since 2018, 100% of race proceeds have supported NAHA and the preservation of Northport history.
Special recognition goes to:
⚡ Cason Adams: The 18-year-old conquered Braman in 7:12, the 6th-fastest Bolt ever, becoming the 4th-fastest individual in race history and the second-youngest Bolt champion.
⚡ John Zenner: At age 40, Zenner ran 7:57, becoming the first Bolter age 40+ ever to break eight minutes.
💰 Cason & John: Both completed the sub-8-minute bounty, adding $100 each to this year’s donation pool.
👟 James Kilshaw: At just 10 years old, James finished fourth overall in 8:17 — the fastest Bolt ever by anyone age 10 or younger and the second-fastest by a runner age 12 or younger.
🔥 The kids: James Kilshaw (10), Tristan Catanach (14), Declan Draper (11), and Dante Eterovic (11) all finished in the top 10, while 18-year-old Cason Adams took the overall crown.
🏃♀️ Erica Harrell: First woman to the summit, finishing 8th overall in 8:56.
📈 Our PR crew: Despite swampy conditions along the Nagonaba Footpath, five returning Bolters set personal records — Isabelle Scott, Janice Beyer, father-son duo Declan & Daniel Draper, and Richard Miller.
💪 Richard Miller: At age 70, Richard’s 11:29 PR made him the fastest Bolter age 70+ in race history and the first to break 12 minutes.
👨👦 Declan & Daniel Draper: Both father and son PR’d, with Daniel taking an incredible 2:41 off his 2025 time.
⚡ Hayden Scott: The inaugural Bolt champion completed his seventh Bolt in seven editions. Hayden remains the only person to finish every running of The Bolt and has never finished worse than seventh overall.
👥 40 Bolters conquered Braman, making Bolt 7 the second-largest finishing field in race history.
