Immunity boosting balls.

I’m sharing here what I call winter powerballs because they are best effective when eaten in cold winter days and help keep your immunity strong enough to fight frequent colds and coughs. As my MIL said kids who are at least 18 months old can also have these and they really help with keeping them away from frequent colds in winter so let’s go to the recipe.

4 tablespoon dry ginger powder

2 tablespoon Ganthoda( pipramul)

4 tablespoon clarified butter (ghee)

4 tablespoon jaggery.

Dash of turmeric powder (1tsp)

You just have to mix everything and make small bowls out of the mixer and store them in the airtight container. Each little bowl is only about 52 cal and it’s best effective if they are eaten first thing in the morning empty stomach or last thing at night before you go to bed which will be after a few hours of your dinner give them a try because we all need a immunity boost right now.

FYi Ganthoda powder is an Indian Ayurvedic herb which has multiple uses besides boosting your immunity like relieves headaches, helps with small digestion after having all the greasy food during parties, helps with dental pain, joint pain and inflammation and the list goes on.

For all my coffee lovers. Here is my go to coffee snack which is delicious and perfect for those busy days when u want to have coffee but don’t have time to make it. And its perfect for on the go too...
Soak the dates in the coffee (cooled down coffee of your choice) for about 20-30 minutes. I use mushroom coffee. Drain the dates and blend in a blender into a smooth paste . Now add your choice of nuts I have used ghee roasted almonds and walnuts here. Add some shredded coconut and poppy seeds. Spread it a baking dish and cut into snack size pieces . Enjoy!!!

Here is a perfect earth day smoothie...

1/2 mango ( frozen for creamy consistency)
2 dates
1/2 c almond milk
1tbsp pecan butter(any nut butter)
2 scoops vanilla powder
1 tsp spiruluna powder
1 tbsp chia seeds
Blend everything to a smooth consistency.

Salads are great for a quick dinner ....
This is one on my staple meal for dinner lately . Its so quick to make, filing and has just right amount of protein, fibre, and healthy fats. .
When you think of salads you think of boring meals and not feeling full enough but let me tell you I couldn’t even finish this for My dinner and its delicious too!!! .
I have used tofu as my protein here !!!!.
Recipe for sauted Tofu...
In a pan put 1 tsp of coconut oil , pinch of pink himalayan salt, 1 tablespoon sesame seeds. Tofu cut in cubes and let it cook for about five minutes. Cook the other side for another couple minutes if you want your tofu to be crisp cook for another two minutes. That’s it crispy tofu is ready to be used as a topping on your salad or you can just eat it as your snack.

1 can garbanzo veans (rinsed )
1 can black beans (rinsed)
Roasted sesame seeds
Cilantro
Mint
Green chillies
2 cloves of garlic

Blend 1 cup pomegranate juice with frozen fruits (I used passion fruit, mango,pineaaple)
Add 1 scoop collagen and 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (i use )
1 tbsp chia seeds, ground flax seeds,
1 tsp ashwagandha, camu camu (), maca ( )
Blend all to smoothie consistency.

Power-packed Green Smoothie !!!
Try to get your greens in everyday they are packed with Vitamins, Minerals, fibre , antioxidants thats why they called powerfoods. And blend these in you morning smoothie and your body will thank you all day with supercharged energy !!!
Recipe.

1/2 avocado
1 cup loosely packed mixed greens ( I use powergreens.
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tbsp ground flax and chia seeds
1/3 cup orange/ pineapple juice
1 scoop collagen peptides.
Blend everything nice and smooth!!!
This smoothie has everything healthy fats , protein and greens to kick start your day and its so filling you can have it as breakfast on the go.

1/2 frozen banana and 1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries šŸ“. 1/2 cup low fat greek yogurt , 1 scoop collagen peptides I use collagen . 1/2 tbsp chia seeds and ground flax seeds each. 1 tbsp almond butter and 1/2 cup almond or any other non dairy milk. Blend blend blend baby.
Voila delicious breakfast ready in less than 5 mins and its so delicious and full of protein, fibre and antioxidants along with collagen so good for beautiful skin and hair.
And it has combined healthy fats, carbs and protein for a filling breakfast !!!
