HOLY SMOKES, BATMAN. WE MADE THE TOP 5! 😂

Like… TOP FIVE. How freaking amazing is that?!

The Loft at 36 Eleven is officially a finalist for Locally Owned Apparel Store in the Firelands Best of the Best Awards!

But can we also talk about the fact that THREE out of the five finalists are from NORWALK?! Because I absolutely freaking love that. There are some incredible businesses throughout the Firelands, and somehow our little corner of Ohio managed to snag three of the five spots. Norwalk showed UP. 👏

And as for The Loft… you guys did this.

You voted. You shared. You told your friends. You continue to show up for this business and all of the wild ideas we keep throwing at you. 😂 And somehow, here we are in the Top 5. Seriously, thank you. This is really freaking cool.

Nowwww… Round 2 is officially OPEN.

And yeah, I’m gonna say it… we’d really freaking love to win this thing. 😂 So if you think The Loft deserves that #1 spot, we’d love to have your vote.

A little schedule update as we head into one very full month!

First, we will not be attending the Milan Melon Festival this year. We know many of you were planning to find us there, so we wanted to make sure you knew where you can find us instead.

This holiday weekend, both our Norwalk and Cedar Point stores will be open and ready for you.

The following weekend, we’ll be joining the fun at the Norwalk Sidewalk Sale while also welcoming you at our Norwalk and Cedar Point locations.

September 18 and 19, our Norwalk store will be open until 3 PM, our Cedar Point location will be closed and our event crew will be bringing the hat bar to Bulls in the Ballpark at the Lake Erie Crushers Stadium.

September 25 and 26, you can find us at Cedar Point and Prairie Peddler.

Then we’re rolling straight into October! On October 2 and 3, we’ll be at Oastoberfest at Twin Oast. Our Norwalk store will also be participating in Witches Wander on October 3rd. We will also be wrapping the weekend up at Prairie Peddler Oct 3rd & 4th. Our Cedar Point location will be closed this weekend.

It’s a packed schedule, but it’s going to be a good one. Save this post so you always know where to find us!

August, you were a lot. 😂

We kicked things off having a blast at Vermilion Beach Market and Quinstock, then apparently decided sleep was overrated and moved into the fair circuit for two straight weeks. One full week at the Huron County Fair, followed immediately by another at the Lorain County Fair, with a rootin’ tootin’ little detour to Kalahari’s Food & (Not Just) Wine Festival somewhere in the middle.

We also had the opportunity to create hats for the WR Music Boosters, helping them raise money for a great program and support the students in our own community. That one meant a little extra to us. 💙🤍🏈🎵

Meanwhile, back at the ranch… our Norwalk shop was slinging back to school looks and those last little pieces of summer, while our brand new Cedar Point location kept the hats burning, perfumes blending and candles pouring.

And because all of that clearly wasn’t enough, our team was also sending kiddos back to school, heading back to college themselves and celebrating a very special first birthday.

It was busy. It was messy. It was really freaking fun. And absolutely none of it could have happened without the team who kept showing up, shifting gears and figuring it out right alongside us.

August ran us a little ragged, but dang… she gave us one heck of a month and we couldn’t be more grateful🤎

And now September is walking in like she doesn’t know we’re tired. 😂 We have even more places to go, things to create and fun headed your way. But first, maybe a nap.

This jacket rolled into Kalahari’s Food & (Not Just) Wine Festival naked and waiting for her opportunity to shine.

And boy, oh boy, did she get the glow up. 😂 She came in as a plain denim jacket and left looking like she had lived nine lives, made several questionable decisions and collected a patch from every one of them.

Kalahari, you were an absolute blast. If this jacket is any indication, Food & (Not Just) Wine was definitely not just about the wine. 😂

I kidnapped our very last three Wrangler Lacey Floral Crossbody purses and brought them to the Lorain County Fair. No regrets. 😂

These are the final three. No restock. No secret stash. No “can you check in the back?”

Come find us right inside gate 5 at the fair before this little purse-napping operation is over for good.

Well, apparently you all decided we weren’t done here. 😂

You showed up. You created with us. You brought your friends back. You embraced Brim & Ember in a way we never could have expected.

And because of that, what was supposed to be one summer event at Cedar Point has turned into years to come.

Brim & Ember is officially The Loft at 36 Eleven’s second permanent retail location, located on Frontier Trail at Cedar Point.

You can now shop The Loft in two places: uptown Norwalk and at Cedar Point in Sandusky.

Fair season is FAIR SEASONING over here. 😂🤠

We kick off Lorain County Fair today, we’re headed to Kalahari Saturday for Food & (Not Just) Wine 🐘🍷, and somewhere in between we’re attempting to keep everyone in the right place at the right time. Soooo, we have a few schedule changes this week.

Our Cedar Point location will be closed this week and reopen Monday, August 31.

Norwalk will close at 4pm Friday. Because Friday night lights are a pretty big deal around here. We want our team in those stands supporting our schools, our community, their kids, our kids and all the kids we get to cheer for. We’re incredibly grateful for every person who shops with us, but we also believe there are moments when being part of our community means actually showing up for it. Friday night is one of those moments. 🏈

Norwalk will also be closed Saturday while our crew heads to Kalahari.

BUT, we aren’t exactly hard to find this week. 😂 You can catch us at Lorain County Fair all week, and Saturday we’ll be at both the fair AND Food & (Not Just) Wine at Kalahari.

It’s a little crazy around here right now, but man, we have some really cool things happening. Come find us out in the wild this week. 🤎

A rodeo is already a pretty solid plan. But a rodeo where you can leave with a custom cowboy hat or trucker hat? Now we’re talking. 🤠

The first round of men’s Ariat jeans JUST hit the floor and based on how many of you have been asking us about them… we know you’ve been waiting. 😂

And listen, we didn’t just grab a couple pairs so we could say we carry men’s jeans. We brought in different fits, washes and sizes because we’re actually building this side of the store for you guys.

This is just the first little piece of the men’s Ariat collection to land. There is SO much more coming.

But for now… the jeans are here. 🙌
