You can almost hear the state start to hum. 🏈 It's that time of year. I have a lot of Iowa tie dye in my Etsy shop (tericlothtiedyeteri)

I don't want to hear any snarky remarks about the Hawkeye vodka. It's not for me, it's for the sunflowers 🌻. They love a splash in their water. And it looks really good for the photo.

P.S. when I do drink vodka it's Bagger Vodka from Cedar Ridge Winery & Distillery It's really good stuff. I'll make some red and gray tie dye to pose with their vodka soon.

It's almost time to wear sweatshirts AND pants! Just not for this photo. I don't know how Louiecat wears a fur coat all summer.

I'm bringing lots of sweatshirts and long sleeve t-shirts to the farmer's market, this Saturday 8/19, in Cedar Rapids.

We're open for business from 7:30-12:00. Come early, it won't get hot until 12:01 🥵 Just in time for me to tear down 🤷‍♀️

Did you know sunflowers 🌻 symbolize happiness and joy? These made me very happy this year because they grew on their own. Drinking wine with them also makes me happy.

We have a Farmer's Market this Saturday the 5th of August in beautiful downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
It's a no tax weekend for most clothing so come save 7% on your purchase. You also enjoy a 5% discount when you pay with cash. 😀

I've been on a few times. But now I do mostly gravel, dirt and the occasional trail ride.
Do I miss it? You mean the lack of personal space, warm beers, hot bars, running out of food, outrageous heat (at least it's humid!), searching for a place to sleep when it's dark? No, not really.
But all you bike weenies have fun and be safe.
