So I saw an embroidered jacket online and thought it was super cute, but they wanted $90 for it. Then I remembered I already owned a jacket that was identical but without the embroidery. So I did my own. I haven't done stitching on the sleeves which the one online did have but I will have to take the cuffs off and open the sleeves up to do that and I'm not feeling that motivated at the moment. I may add a little something to the collar in the front, though.

A few months ago I did an embroidery project for a friend who wanted the horsehead of Rohan (from Lord of the Rings) embroidered on an apron for her LARP events. Apparently it was well-received so this week I had the honor of creating these Rohan patches for her. I also finished this basket for another friend and completed this top for a quilt I am making.

Recent projects have been personal -- a basket for a friend who has also recently been treated for breast cancer (I had my treatment in 2017-2018) and a crib quilt for a pending grandbaby.

With both embroidery machines out for servicing I am forced to fall back on costuming. Presented for your review is this full-length duster with flounce sleeves.
