Sadly, Five and Dime Vintage Shop, the spot I’ve been consigning records at this past year, will be closing its doors at the end of August. It’s been a fun run with Terrie (the shop owner), and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to find new homes for great records while meeting cool new peeps.
To go out in style, we’ll be opening doors Fri-Sun/Noon-5pm for the next four weekends. Terrie just sold all her clothes (in one sale!), but she’ll be filling the empty shop space with fresh furniture and art, as well as more vintage tchotchkes and treasures. I’ve also already dropped off four full boxes of fresh $1 records, and I’ll be making a concentrated effort to keep the top shelves loaded with choice titles as we count down to our final weekend.
Note: We’ll also be discounting as each week passes. With the exception of jewelry, everything will be marked down 10%, 20% and 30% as weeks 2, 3 and 4 come up. Weekend 4 will be our final goodbye to the Piedmont courtyard, with added outdoor shopping.
So stop by for some safe shopping! Wear your masks of course! We’ll provide gloves and hand sanitizer. And we’ll be keeping the shop capacity limit to two customers at a time. If you arrive and the shop is full, we’ll figure out the waiting list system, perhaps even a text alert could be helpful if you wanna stroll and come back. Patience and respect, safety and health.
Thanks again for all the support! And we hope to see you soon! 💘
