Hey it’s me! (Selfie for the algorithm!) Anyways, I wanted to make a post about the upcoming 🆓 craft circle happening at the end of the month - February 28th from 2-4pm PST and this month, we’re going to explore the wonderful world of mixed media collages. Collages are so fun! I think that they’re a great introduction to challenge yourself and experiment with things that you may have not thought would work together. We are walking any limiting beliefs out the door because when you come into a MADFibers craft circle, you’re here to create, meet fellow creatives and form a deeper connection with yourself and others ❤️ yeah I’m cheesy, thought y’all knew that?
This is my first time hosting a virtual event so I blocked two hours for it, but stay for a little little or as long as you’d like! The first half hour or so, I will open up the circle with an brief intention setting meditation, chat about the history of collages, share few key design principles + inspirational resources, then I’ll dive into quick live demo and we’ll use the remaining time to create collages, turn our mics on and chat with one another, and eventually close the circle by sharing our creations!
